Samsung hasn't baked wireless charging into the Galaxy S5 – but if you're desperate to free yourself from the tyranny of cables, there is an option. Samsung's official wireless charging case adds an S View flip cover to a Qi wireless charging back panel, letting you recharge your phone via inductive charging. You also get all the S View functionality found on the standard flip cover.
Samsung Qi Wireless Charging Pad (£29)
A wireless charging case is no use without something to wirelessly charge it. This little pad uses electromagnetic induction to charge up your S5, and packs an automatic shut-off feature to prevent it from continuing to charge your phone after the battery's full.

Samsung's pitching the Galaxy S5 as a health and fitness device, with a redesigned S Health app and a heart rate sensor. So what better way to make use of S Health than with a pair of sports headphones? Bose's SiE2 in-ears borrow from the design of its IE2 headphones, augmenting them with sweat and water resistance. Bose's StayHear tips let you hear outside noise as well as your tunes, so you won't get run over by a bus on your morning jog.

Yes, you could for out the extra cash for the Gear 2, but the Gear 2 Neo does everything that its pricier brother does, aside from snap comparatively feeble 2MP photos. It also sports a slightly more plasticky build, but if you want to give Smasung's Tizen-powered smartwatches a try, it's a good starting point.
