LG G3 leaks in gold, laser autofocus sensor looking likely

The HTC One (M8) might lose its 'most leaked phone' crown if this keeps up

The LG G3 has leaked once again, this time in a rather... interesting gold colour.

While it's not to our tastes, gold is apparently a rather popular colour in Asian markets, and past leaks of the G3 have shown off more conservative black and white models, so we're not too fussed.

These most recent shots were leaked courtesy of GSM Arena's inside source, and you can just about make out what appears to be a brushed metal finish on the rear.

But it's the front of the G3 that's got us really excited. Its bezels (or rather, complete lack of them) look absolutely stunning, and although it's impossible to say without the screen being on, the G3 looks set tt land with the largest screen-to-body ratio of any device yet.

The inside source also shared some information about the G3's camera. You will apparently be able to take selfies with voice commands, or simply by clapping your hands or twisting your finger. Confused? Us too.

The source also claims that the mysterious black sensor on the left of the rear camera is in fact a laser, designed to improve autofocus in low-light conditions.

Coupled with the rumoured OIS+ image stabilisation, the G3 looks like it could be the smartphone camera to beat when it's unveiled later this month.

The source also mention the the G3 will feature a Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM, although previous reports have pointed to a Snapdragon 805 processor.

That's the latest from the LG rumour mill, but stay tuned for more info, when it inevitably trickles in.
