With the Premier League and Olympic athletics all competing for our eyeballs today, this truly is Mega Sports Weekend.

But it’s not just about vicariously living through other people’s sporting glory. We’ve all achieved great things in the pixellated arenas of sports video games – and what better way to celebrate them than by testing our brains on the mental pommel horse of a Stuff quiz?

Be warned: this isn’t the quiz equivalent of your local district sports day. We’re going all the way back to those post-Pong days of the late 1970s, through to the 21st century’s podium-worthy classics. Frankly, the Olympic decathlon is a walk in the park by comparison. Go!
