The cream of Epson's new projector crop are the EH-R4000 and EH-R2000 which are the first to show off Epson's new 3LCD Reflective technology. Both are Full HD beasts and Epson claims the new tech helps them achieve a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and 500,000:1 respectively. That means blacker blacks and brighter whites, people.
There's plenty of other picture-enhancing magic onboard too, including frame interpolation for smoother motion and a 'super-resolution' feature for high-quality upscaling of standard definition sources like DVDs.
There's also a motorized zoom and lens for getting the picture set up on your wall nice and quickly, making the most of its 1,200 lumen output.
The EH-R4000 (pictured top) can also be controlled over a network, if you've got a really serious setup.
On the lower end of the scale are the EH-TW3600 and EH-TW3200 (pictured above) which are Full HD units aimed at projector first-timers. Easy to set up and with two HDMI ports for switching between gaming and movies, they'll equip your front room with an image of up to 300in that'll have your mates begging to come round for movie night.
The new range of Epson projectors is out in October, priced £900 (TW3200), £1300 (TW3600), £3000 (R2000) and £5000 (R4000).
