It's been a long time coming since it was first announced in 2008, but Blizzard has finally announced a release date for Diablo III – which is slated to grace gamers worldwide with its presence on May 15th.
The third installment in the fabled Diablo RPG series will be available in stores and online for £45, with £70 nabbing you the collectors' edition, featuring a book and behind the scenes footage, alongside copies of the first two Diablo titles. If you're prepared to shell out £70 on Diabolo III, you've probably already got the earlier games, but it's a nice thought.
Gamers can also grab a copy of Diablo III for free when they sign away their lives to a one year World of Warcraft subscription – though that may not be the best option given that they probably won't have time to play Diablo III (or do anything else for that matter).
