Casio's new Exilim Tryx claims to be a new class of digital camera. We're not sure about that, but it's certainly cool.
The LCD screen is mounted within a frame, so it can flip out and swivel around for all kinds of uses, from self-portraits to hanging it on a wall. Okay, the latter might be for the purpose of the former, but it's still pretty sweet.
On the numbers side, it's got a 12-megapixel sensor, just a 2x zoom and will capture 1080p hi-def video.
Casio also made big noises about the built-in art filters, which will also be available through an online service to give your snaps watercolour, oil-painting or pop-art feels.
