Spotify iPad app out now

Treat your ears (and eyes) to Spotify's new retina display-friendly music streaming app

It’s been a long time coming, but Spotify’s iPad app is finally available to download – trailing behind the Android tablet version, which has already been out for a while now.

The new Spotify for iPad app is tailored for Retina Display graphics serving up super sharp images and rich colours, and allows you to access Spotify’s entire 18 million-strong catalogue of tunes.

A new ‘Now Playing’ full-screen view lets you gaze over high-def cover art – gapless playback, and AirPlay support and friend playlist searching are all also included in the iPad app.

Head on over to the App Store now where you can download the new Spotify for iPad app for free. You’ll need to be a Spotify Premium subscriber to make use of the app, though non-subscribers can sign up for a 30-day free trial. Rock on.
