Not comfortably anyway.</p> <p>It could be because we haven&#39;t spent enough time with the Passport to get used to its odd design, but so far it&#39;s definitely a two-handed job.</p> <p>While we can quite easily reach the top of the screen thanks to its shorter size, reaching the other side of the keyboard while typing results in a balancing game we like to call &#39;oh god, please don&#39;t fall, please don&#39;t - *****&#39;.&nbsp;</p> <p>It&#39;s a working title.</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="Beauty shot" alt="BlackBerry Passport" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/DSCN9958_1.JPG?1413179256" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1200" height="900" title="View from the rear" alt="BlackBerry Passport" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/DSCN9967_2.JPG?1413179256" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-1"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> A hybrid keyboard </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>BlackBerry&#39;s keyboards are legendary, and we fell in love with the one on the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/blackberry/blackberry-q10/review" target="_blank">Q10</a>, which was the best physical keyboard we&#39;ve ever used.&nbsp;</p> <p>Despite the advances of software offerings like SwiftKey, Swype and Fleksy, we found ourselves bashing out emails faster on the Q10 then any other device.</p> <p>With the Passport however, we find typing to be a little awkward, possibly due to its narrow height and the fact that it&#39;s squeezed towards the bottom.</p> <p>To be fair to BlackBerry though, if it&#39;s one thing it knows, it&#39;s keyboards, and having not used a physical keyboard since the Q10, we know that it takes at least a few days to adjust, so we&#39;ve got tentative high hopes for the Passport&#39;s typing prowess.</p> <p>The Passport&#39;s keyboard also adds another trick to its arsenal - touch sensitivity. The entire keyboard acts like a giant touchpad, letting you scroll through webpages and accurately drag around the cursor when making adjustments to text.</p> <p>Another neat trick is the on-screen symbols and number keys, which, on first impressions, look like they&#39;ll make typing a faster experience as you don&#39;t have to worry about switching between different keyboard modes.</p> <p>Predicted words also appear on the screen as you&#39;re typing, and you can flick up on the keyboard beneath one of the three words to make your selection.</p> <p>It works well, though we tend to ignore predictions most of the time when we type.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/blackberry/blackberry-q10/review" target="_blank">BlackBerry Q10 review</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="Classic typing test" alt="BlackBerry Passport" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/DSCN9960_0.JPG?1413179256" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1200" height="900" title="Sexy accurate cursor movement" alt="BlackBerry Passport" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/DSCN9959_1.JPG?1413179256" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-2"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Megapixel bump </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The Passport has a 13MP OIS-equipped camera, which theoretically should result in better low-light shots. It&rsquo;s a pretty amazing demo, and one that helps show how Konami is getting around the issues that an open setting provide to a stealth experience.</p> <p>Otherwise, in typical series fashion, there&rsquo;s plenty of action, melodrama, and humor found within the half-hour guided demo&mdash;which is running on a PlayStation 4 and happens to look pretty amazing. No current release date has been announced, but The Phantom Pain is also in the works for Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.</p> <p>[Source: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tto6n_AHdBM">IGN</a>]</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/electronic-arts/e3-2014-biggest-video-game-news-so-far/feature">E3 2014 &mdash; all of the biggest news</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="video-wrapper youtube-player-wrapper"> <iframe width="640" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Tto6n_AHdBM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-1"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> BlackBerry is releasing a square-screened phablet </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>Bet you didn&rsquo;t see this one coming. And if you need to pull up something that&rsquo;s not shown, you can simply draw the first letter of the word or name and a list will appear.</p> <p>In its pre-beta state, the Z Launcher has only been tested on a handful of phones, such as the Galaxy S3/4/5, as well as the Nexus 5 running Android 4.1+, and tablet use isn&rsquo;t recommended as of now.
