April issue on sale now!

The April issue of Stuff has made a break for it, taking shelter in newsagents and digital magazine stores across the land. Here’s what’s hiding inside…

Scoff that final pancake and get ready to give up boredom for Lent, because the new issue of Stuff is out now and ready to fill your eyes and brain with delicious gadget treats.

First on the menu is our exclusive look at Valve’s Steam Machines. We sent Stuff’s associate editor Will Dunn to Valve HQ in Bellevue, Washington to get the inside story on the development of the company’s console-like gaming PCs. He even managed to get his grubby mitts on a whole raft of controller prototypes, including hands-on time with the finished product.

This month Stuff is also celebrating its 15th birthday, so we’ve had a look back at the gadget milestones that have passed in our lifetime, from the Palm V to Google Glass, stopping along the way to reminisce about the time we played Rock Band on a soggy stage in Trafalgar Square, suffered from Wii Sports induced tennis elbow for the first time, and spent half a week trying to 3D print our own logo.

Elsewhere we’ve collected the best retro kit with a modern twist, tested five of the best Bluetooth speakers, and put three tablets with better-than-Retina screens through their pixel-packed paces.

More after the break...

And that’s not all. There’s also our guide to wild swimming, tips on how to re-awesomise your Android phone, plus our world famous Top 10s.

You wouldn’t want to miss out on any of that, would you? Thought not. So if you’d be so kind as to skip off down to your local newsagent, swivel your browser in the direction of newsstand.co.uk/Stuff, or point your iPad at Apple’s Newsstand, we shall begin.
