Super-sized 12in iPad could be on the way

Is Apple working on a plus-sized iPad? The iRumour mill seems to think so

Apple could be prepping a plus-size iPad to sit alongside its existing 9.7in and 7.9in models.

According to Chinese publication United Daily News, Apple is working on a larger 12in iPad – which will reportedly be made by Quanta, a Taiwanese manufacturer with a history of working on Apple products.

We've heard rumours of a 13in iPad before (well, 12.9in to be exact) so it's unclear which measurement, if any, is the correct screen size for the mysterious new iSlate.

We expect all (or nothing) to be revealed at Apple's iPad event which is expected to take place in October, where an all-new redesigned iPad is expected to be revealed alongside a Retina Display iPad Mini – so stay tuned.

You're missing the "L" out of "could" in the title. That's just asking for abuse, you know people love to give it.

Anyway..  I love my iPad mini, it's the perfect size for what I like to do with it. If they're going to make an even larger iPad they should include some capabilities that you'd normally only get from buying a desktop or laptop.
