If you don't want to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch then it's best to look away now, as the new Overflow tweak courtesy of developer Adam Bell will tempt you like never before.
Overflow turns your iDock in to a mini version of the full Mac OS X dock, including magnification of the central icon. It comes with settings allowing you to change the number of apps displayed per screen (with a nice Cover Flow-style overlap effect neatly avoiding crowding) and means you can de-clutter your homescreen and flick through multiple apps on the dock fluidly.
Sadly, it's jailbreak-only for now, but it's the sort of thing Apple might snap up for a future iOS update. If you're already jailbroken and ready to dive in just hit up the Cydia app store where you can purchase Overflow for a mere US$0.99.
