The feature–heavy model will now cost £1,719, down from £2,029, thanks to a drop in the cost of SSDs. Some would say you can’t say no to a £310 price cut, but when the lower specced model, with an 80GB hard drive, remains at £1,199, we still think Apple can do better.
Just to refresh your memory, the more expensive Air comes rocking a 64GB solid state drive, 2GB of memory, Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Bluetooth. And, of course, only one USB port.
We’re chasing up Apple’s UK people to find out of there are any more planned price cuts, so keep it locked to Stuff.tv for more news as we get it.
