Apple releases Airport Utility app for iOS 5

All the network administrator powers you could wish for, in the palm of your hand

Apple has released a new Airport Utility app for the consumption of iDevice and future iPhone 4S users to coincide with the availability of iOS 5 which launches sometime today.

Apart from providing a neat graphical display of your network, the app also lets you change passwords, reset routers and update firmware – all without having to even turn on a computer.

You can grab the iOS 5-only app through iTunes, or download it by hitting the little blue arrow next to the current active network in your device’s network settings.
