Apple has reportedly begun production of its new iPhone 5S smartphone.

According to Japanese tech blog Macotakara, the iPhone 5S is in production at NTT Docomo, who is cutting back on Android devices to make room for the new iPhone.

Rumours of when it will actually land seem to point to July, which would support early production around this time.

The rumour mill is also suggesting a new A7 processor, a fingerprint reader similar to the one we saw at MWC, international band connectivity so it works in China, and a better camera based on LED tech referred to as Smart Flash.
