The Adobe Photoshop Touch app has landed on the iPad for £7 at the iStore. But what will those few pounds get you compared to the £650 desktop version?
The answer is, quite a lot. Photoshop Touch has layer support, a bunch of handy editing tools, and the ability to extract objects (even hair masks) from a picture. There's also a unique iPad trait that lets you fill a marked area with a photo you can take using your iPad's camera. In many ways a touch screen interface – like professionals use – could also make this a lot easier to use than its big brother on the desktop. And all for a slither of the price.
