This, of course, demands a certain type of trainer – and the Adizero XT is one such shoe.</p> <p><strong>Rough and ready</strong></p> <p>Its breathable synthetic upper may mean it looks a little dandyish and won’t keep your tootsies warm in a run on alpine tundra, but the ‘pleather’ does last long in extreme surroundings and the dual-density sole ups the stability. </p> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-pricing"><legend>Pricing</legend><div class="field field-type-number-float field-field-test-price"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> £75.00 </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-ratings"><legend>Ratings</legend><div class="field field-type-hcmreviewrating-rating field-field-overall-rating"> <div class="field-label">Overall rating:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="hcmrating-default">8 stars</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-sections"><legend>Review Section</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> </fieldset> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-verdict"> <div class="field-label">Verdict:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> The Adizero XT has an upper only a mother could love, but performs well in off-road running </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-legacy-url"> <div class="field-label">Legacy URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> /review/adidas-adizero-xt </div> </div> </div> <p><a href="http://www.stuff.tv/adidas-adizero-xt/review" target="_blank">read more</a></p> http://www.stuff.tv/adidas-adizero-xt/review#comments Adidas Adizero XT Sport Tue, 20 Nov 2007 06:00:00 +0000 Simon Osborne-Walker 8596 at http://www.stuff.tv Adidas Supernova Cushion 6 http://www.stuff.tv/adidas/adidas-supernova-cushion-6/review <div class="field field-type-text field-field-standfirst"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Adidas&#039; latest weapon in the fight against specialist running shoes is this update on its best-selling supernova design – the promisingly named Cushion 6 </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-enable-hero"> <div class="field-label">Enable hero:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Enable full width image </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-main-image"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_main_image" width="557" height="418" alt="" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/images/news/adidas_supernova_cushion_0.jpg?1364300389" /> </div> </div> </div> <p>It’s easy to assume that Adidas has rested on its three-striped, retro laurels upon seeing the Supernova Cushion 6s. But fear not – every single panel of these trainers has been scrutinized by Adi’ eggheads with movement in mind. &nbsp;</p> <p>The Supernova Cushion 6’s list of tech is impressive. Adidas’ ever-evolving Torsion system supports the midfoot admirably, seams have been jettisoned to keep things more streamlined, adiPRENE takes the shock and ForMotion supports your muscular system and helps maintain your running posture.&nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-pricing"><legend>Pricing</legend><div class="field field-type-number-float field-field-test-price"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> £65.00 </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-ratings"><legend>Ratings</legend><div class="field field-type-hcmreviewrating-rating field-field-overall-rating"> <div class="field-label">Overall rating:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="hcmrating-default">8 stars</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-sections"><legend>Review Section</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> </fieldset> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-verdict"> <div class="field-label">Verdict:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> The Supernova Cushion 6 has lapped its sub-branded siblings to become one of the finest examples of how to meld an advanced running show with classic looks </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-legacy-url"> <div class="field-label">Legacy URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> /review/adidas-supernova-cushion-6 </div> </div> </div> <p><a href="http://www.stuff.tv/adidas/adidas-supernova-cushion-6/review" target="_blank">read more</a></p> http://www.stuff.tv/adidas/adidas-supernova-cushion-6/review#comments Adidas Fashion Supernova Cushion 6 Wed, 17 Oct 2007 05:00:00 +0000 Simon Osborne-Walker 7959 at http://www.stuff.tv Adidas Adidas_1 http://www.stuff.tv/adidas/adidas-adidas1/review <div class="field field-type-text field-field-standfirst"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> The Adidas 1 trainers will preserve your posture thanks to a sensor, microprocessor and motor working out optimum cushioning </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-enable-hero"> <div class="field-label">Enable hero:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Enable full width image </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-main-image"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_main_image" width="484" height="363" alt="" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/images/news/Adidas-adidas_1-Smart-Ride-Running-Shoes-3_0.jpg?1364300664" /> </div> </div> </div> <p>The Adidas_1s are the first trainers to contain a computer chip. Does this mean bionic running is finally with us? Sadly, that's still beyond these trainers, but they will make your evening jogs a whole lot more comfortable.</p> <p>Using a sensor, a microprocessor and a motor, these ‘intelligent’ trainers ensure optimum cushioning throughout your run or workout.
